First business coaching event in United Kingdom

Back in Zimbabwe when i was planning my trip to travel to the United Kingdom. One of my goals was to attend a lot of business events as much as i can. In this article i am going to share notes on what I have learnt from the very first business event i attended in United kingdom. Lets go 

I was browsing the internet for events in the area that i live now ( United Kingdom) I came across a  couple of events and i needed to attend the next upcoming event. I then came across an event called develop your mindset which was hosted by John and Jamie who share similar values and interests for personal development and mindset. 

A day before the event

I received an email from John stating that I was the only person who registered to attend the event. He gave me a choice to cancel the event and wait for another day when they will host or come through and they will shorten the presentation for one person. I had not choice i was looking forward to this event I responded to say yes I need to attend and  I am ok with the short presentation. 

Notes from my first event in United Kingdom 

Jamie and John share a lot of nuggets that I really needed since  I am new in the country . i like how business minded people can accommodate others and give all they have to have others climb the ladder.

My biggest take away from my first business event in United kingdom

Besides the fact that i will never forget this amazing experience. During the event there were some exercises that stretched my way of thinking. One of the question was “How do you know you have achieved your goal?” this question was asked several times and each time it was asked I was giving different answers only to realize that life is more than getting to our business goals there is more to it.

My future plans 

i plan to attend more and more business events around United kingdom and share my notes. Definitely, find new friends and have them share their knowledge with my business fiends in Zimbabwe. 

Conclusion 

I have developed a culture of attending business events throughout my business journey this way i connect with like minded people share ideas  and get help from those that have been in business before me.
